Joan Miller

1936 – 2022
On March 7, 2022, our beloved aunt passed through the veil to be joyously reunited with her parents, brothers, and sisters.
Joan Miller was born in Preston Idaho on January 2, 1936, to Cleone Andersen and Christian Miller.
The family later moved to Utah where she graduated from Ogden High School.
Joan is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a Johannesburg South African Mission in the 1960’s. Upon her return, she was active in Young Women and also co-wrote and produced a roadshow titled “The Man with the Coconut Head” in her Stake.
During her career, she worked at the Forrest Service and the IRS.
Later in life, she lived with her sister Cleone whose children became her immediate family and cared for her over the years.
The family would like to thank the Harrison Pointe and South Ogden Post-Acute care centers for their efforts over the last few weeks. Also, a special thanks to her social worker Julie and Atlas Homecare and Hospice for their kind and compassionate treatment in Joan’s final days. In addition, we would like to thank her nephew Keith, who became her primary caregiver over the years and attended to her every need.
