Norma “Diane” Kay Houston

Norma “Diane” Kay Houston 80, reunited with her husband Joseph C. Houston in heaven May 28, 2022. Diane was born to Cleon Washington Kay and Norma Louise Jones Kay. She graduated from Juab High School and attended Utah Technical Trade School in Provo.

Diane married the love of her life Joseph C Houston on July 2, 1960. They are parents to two sons and one daughter. She loved her family more than anything. Diane loved crafting, quilting, yard work, shopping, and making sure the lawn was cut weekly.

Diane was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many different callings in the church. She volunteered for Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah for many years. Diane loved nothing more than spending time with her family and grandkids, sisters.

She is survived by her sons Kerry (Karen) Houston, Spanish Fork, Kelly (Joyce) Houston, Riverton, and her daughter Suzanne (Jeff) Mitchell, of Mapleton. She is survived by her nine grandchildren who adore her, Melissa (Dustin) Haws, Melanie (Kaycee) O’Bannon, Shawn Houston, Gavin (Whitley) Houston, Alysson (Dallin) Hale, Jacob Houston, Dustin Mitchell, Shantel (Jake) Leifson, Tiffany (Shad) Jeffers. Diane is also survived by her 12 great-grandkids and another on the way. Jentrie, Braxton, Sierra, Piper O’Bannon; McKayla, Maddison, Carson Haws; Cruz, Swayzie, Remi, Leifson: Kohen Jeffers: Olivia Mitchell: She is survived by her sisters Marie, Donna, Becky, and her brother Randy.

Diane is preceded in death by her husband Joe, parents, brother Kent and sister Beth.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. located at the Spanish Fork Third Ward Building, 575 West 400 North, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may attend at visitation on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. located at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah, and again from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church.
