Sue Sanford Ball, born April 30, 1932 and formerly of Provo and Salt Lake City UT, passed peacefully on Sunday, October 30 in Orchard Park, NY. Beloved wife of Joseph M. Ball; loving mother of Ellis S. (Ronald J.) Bigelow, Sanford A. (Sas) Stark, Lynda (John F.) Immel, grandmother of Lauren, Lindsey, John, Sarah, Jeffrey and Jennifer, and fifteen great-grandchildren. Sue’s many contributions included donating her time and expertise to groups including The Daughters of the American Revolution as local and national leader, Preservation Utah as board member, Junior League of SLC, The Utah and Utah Valley Quilt Guilds as award-winning quilt maker, and National Trust for Historic Preservation. After moving to Orchard Park in 2012, Sue continued to give her time and energy participating in local Fox Run Residents organizations. A Memorial will be held in Utah at a later date.
