She was born in Ogden, Weber, Utah on 17 December 1949 to Viola Marie Hill Lowther (Vi) and Harold Julius Lowther (Bud). She was the second oldest child of their five children. She grew up in Provo.

Her services will be on 17 September 2022. The viewing will be at 10 am and the funeral will begin at 11 am. Located at the Spanish Peak ward building at 1552 East 750 South, Spanish Fork, 84660.

She will be buried at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
