Carma Anita Thomas Ferguson
Carma Anita Thomas Ferguson, lovingly called “Annie” by her family, passed away on September 28, 2022 at the age of 84 in Orem, Utah. A small family graveside service will be held at the Orem Cemetery on Friday, October 7 at 11 a.m.
Carma was born in Leland Utah to David Hyrum Thomas and Winona Irene Frandsen. She was the youngest of 3 daughters. She later went on to study cosmetology. Carma was married to Stanley Robert Ferguson and they raised 4 wonderful children.
Carma lived a full life, enjoying gardening, puzzles, doting on her cats, and being an amazing “Annie” to her 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She worked for over 10 years in the elementary schools as a “foster grandparent.” She touched a lot of students’ hearts.
Carma is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Robert Ferguson, and her two sisters, Davona Henderson and Vesta Robertson.
Carma is survived by her children, Kent Ferguson, Nikki Lewis (Sterling Lewis), Tom Ferguson (Lidia Ferguson), and Linda Denter (Randy Denter); as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
