Boyd was born April 2, 1933 in Treasureton, Idaho. He is the oldest of 3 children.

He married Jolene Rae Steere and had 2 children, Karl and LynAnn Williams. He served in the Navy, worked as an HVAC mechanic, and loved boating, camping and being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and an uncle who was raised with him.

He is survived by his spouse Jolene Williams and his two children, Karl (Janet) Williams and LynAnn Williams, his sisters Jolene (Ray) Dawson, and Joan (John) Syme, three grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

The memorial services will be held Saturday April 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Northbridge LDS Chapel on 1080 W Arlington Street, Washington, Utah. There will be a viewing from 11:30 ­ 12:30 pm prior to the services. Interment will be at Washington City Cemetery, 300 Park View Dr, Washington, Utah.
