Marlene Laycock Fraughton

Marlene Laycock Fraughton passed away peacefully at home on April 16th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Marlene was born in Provo, Utah, on July 3rd, 1936, to John and Ella Carlton Laycock.
Marlene married the love of her life, Boyd Kay Fraughton, on October 10th, 1953, and later sealed for eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 9th, 1964, and shared 57 beautiful years of marriage.
Marlene had an unwavering love for her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
To know Marlene was to love her. Her kindness and charity had no limits.
Marlene deeply loved the Gospel and spent most of her final years reading and enjoying the scriptures with her caregivers and close family.
Marlene is survived by her brother Lloyd Laycock and sister Deanna Laycock, children Kaylene (Alan) Sundquist, Dianne (Phillip) Ortega, JoLene (Gene) Bernardo, Chad (Jenn) Fraughton, 19 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren; she was also preceded in death by her mother and father, her loving husband, Kay Fraughton, and twin granddaughters Stephanie and Cori Ann, her brother Marvin Laycock and his wife Arlene Laycock.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 24th at 10:00 AM in the Lindon West Chapel, 610 West 100 South Lindon, Utah 84042.
Family and Friends may attend the viewing Sunday, April 23rd, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah, 84062, and again at the Church on Monday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Tabiona Red Cliff Cemetery, at 5050 North Tabby Lane, Tabiona, Utah, at 2:00 PM.
