Judith Wilson Sherwood-Bachelder

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother Judith Wilson Sherwood-Bachelder passed away on August 2, 2023, in Springville, Utah at the age of 81. Judie was born in Caliente, Nevada, on April 9, 1942, to loving parents, Howard Grigg Wilson and Ardell Humphries. Judie was the younger of two children, preceded in death by her elder sister Shirlyn Campbell (Gary).

Judie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a firm testimony of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She held many callings in her church, but her two favorite callings were those of serving in the Young Womens and serving as the Relief Society President.

Judie is survived by her children, Stephen Greening Sr, Tony Greening, Steven (Edna) Sherwood, Dan Sherwood, Deborah Sherwood, LeAnn (Steve) Gourley, Janet (Brett deceased) Blanco, Robert (Laura) Sherwood. Judie also maintained a close relationship with a previous daughter-in-law, Catherine Sherwood, and counted her as an additional daughter. Along with her children, Judie is survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. Judie was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard D. Sherwood (1988-2014) and Daniel Fred Bachelder (2015-2021), as well as her beloved daughter, Shauna.

Funeral services will be held at Sundberg Olpin Mortuary 495 South State, Orem, on August 11th at 11am with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30am on that same date. Interment will be at American Fork Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.SundbergOlpinMortuary.com
