Professionally, Jimmy made his mark as a skilled brick mason and contractor. His dedication to his craft was evident in the numerous structures he helped bring to life, leaving a lasting legacy that will be admired for generations to come. Outside of work, he enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing. Later in life, he enjoyed traveling with his son.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Shawn, grandson, Bryce (Kimberly) Hatfield, two great grandchildren, Emily and Michael, brothers Doyle (Linda) Hatfield, Fred (Lindsay) Hatfield, and Blake (Verilyn) Hatfield, and sisters Lorraine (Ross) Steffens, Marie Snelson, and Sharon (Ross) Vanleuven. He is preceded in death by his wife, son Jimmy Lee, daughters Laurie Ann and Gay Lynne, and his three brothers and parents.

Funeral services will be held at Eagle Rock Church at 825 Hawks Rest Dr, Mapleton, Utah 84664 at 11 am on August 18th at 11 am. There will be viewings at the church the evening prior from 7 pm to 9 pm and one hour prior to the services on August 18th. He will be interred at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah.
