Carma Rae Conder Millar

Carma Rae Conder Millar passed away peacefully in her sleep early on the morning of November 26, 2023. Carma was born May 13, 1933 in American Fork, Utah to James Boyer Conder and Ruby J Singleton Conder. She had two siblings; Orville and Barbara. Carma married Richard Fernand Millar on January 22, 1951 at the Conder residence. Richard was drafted into the Army and soon shipped out to Norfolk Virginia for training. Carma soon followed him to Virginia where they lived off base. Carma worked a variety of jobs while Richard served on base. After Richard was discharged from the Army they returned to Utah and lived in Pleasant Grove. Together they had 7 children; Cindy Millar, Carol Millar Brown (Bill), Dale Millar (Carla), Connie Millar Edwards (Kenny), Marie Millar Cardon, Dean Millar (Holly) and David Millar (Heidi). Carma and Richard owned and operated Richard Millar Trucking until Richards death in 1996. Carma served several years doing volunteer work at the Mt Timpanogos LDS Temple, the American Fork Hospital and the United Way. In addition, she served LDS Church callings working as ward secretary and librarian. Carma loved her family and often would arrange large family reunions to get everyone together. This is not an easy task since to date she has 70 direct descendants. She cherished seeing the children and grandchildren working and playing together. That was what made her truly happy. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 4 at Olpin Family Mortuary; 494 South 300 East in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Family and friends may attend a viewing from 9:30 – 10:45am prior to the services. Interment will be in the American Fork Cemetery. An evening viewing will be held from 5:00 – 7:00pm on Sunday December 3rd at Olpin Family Mortuary in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com
