1933 — 2023

On July 22, 2023, Margaret Ann Moore made her final journey to reunite with her beloved husband Paul. She taught her children to love God, music, and understand the difference between right and wrong. She exuded a spirit of adventure throughout her life. As one of the most prominent volunteers in the Utah Girl Scouts, she took girls hiking, biking, winter camping, and rafting down the Colorado River. Margaret and her Green Team expanded Girl Scout participation in Utah many times over. After her Girl Scout service ended, she continued the adventure life. Her trips included biking down Haleakala on Maui, driving the Alaska Highway, and trips to Greenland, the Canadian High Arctic, and many cruises to Alaska. She never met a soul she didn’t love and will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by four children, 14 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
