Robert Lynn Hales

Robert Lynn Hales (81) passed away peacefully on March 9 2023 in Surprise AZ.

Lynn graduated from Springville High School in 1960 where he was a scholar athlete playing football, basketball and baseball. He married soon after and moved to California where he worked in finance.

His dedication and hard work led to his ownership of Pipeline Contractors where he ran a successful business in Las Vegas for many years. While hard at work he also became a licensed pilot. He loved to fly his two daughters to Utah for annual family reunions.

His many hobbies included carpentry, computers and crossword puzzles. Attending musicals and plays were a favorite of his while watching movies at home a close second.

He loved the Lakers and Dodgers and could make any referee a little nervous. He loved a good prime rib and could make a mean batch of brownies.

Later in life he married for the last time to the love of his life and they enjoyed 19 years together where they traveled extensively and retired in AZ.

He is survived by his beloved wife Rowena, daughters Diana and Katherine (Ray) brothers Marvin (Robin) and Roger (Jolene) grandchildren Rachel, Sonny and Steven (Emily) He is proceeded in death by his parents Ferron and Marguerite Hales, his brother Blaine and sister-in-law Annette. Services to be held 10 am June 9 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 585 N Main Street. Spanish Fork Utah
