Clinton Ray Oaks, 38, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away April 29, 2023, at his home in Provo, UT after a long battle with serious health issues.
Born June 15, 1984 to Cheryl Ann Crawley and Michael Paul Oaks in Provo, UT, Clint spent most of his life in Provo. He graduated from Timpview High School in 2002 and later earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a software emphasis from Western Governor’s University in 2015. He married Alicia Gonzalez Oaks on April 21, 2014. Together they welcomed two beautiful children into the world.
Clint was a passionate gamer. He had the opportunity to travel the world with his job and experience many wonders of the world. He loved working on projects and hobbies including building cars, tinkering in his garage, building computers, hosting LAN (Local Area Network) parties, joy rides in his GTO, fireworks, and holiday celebrations with his loved ones. Clint was known for his kind heart, reliability, and unwavering support for his friends and family.
Clint will be dearly missed by his wife Alicia; children, Brayden and Victoria; siblings Amber, Tiffany (Troy Baldwin), Christian (Katie), Becca (Nelson) Khan; grandmother Barbara Newell Crawley; nephew Gideon Khan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Clint was preceded in death by his mother Cheryl Ann Crawley; brother Robert James Oaks; grandfathers Clinton Lewis Oaks and James Crawley; and grandmother Elaine Waddoups Oaks.
A funeral service to honor Clint’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edgemont 10th Ward, located at 345 East 4525 North in Provo, UT. Clint’s ashes will be laid to rest with his brother Rob prior to the funeral. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
