Rosalee Hayward (1950-2023)
Rosalee Hayward, 73, passed away on the 27th of October in Provo, Utah.
She was born on September 22, 1950, in Provo, Utah to William R. Crist and Ethel B. Harvey. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1968. She married her Sweetheart, Sidney Blaine Hayward, on May 22, 1971, in the Manti Temple where the two were sealed for time and all eternity. The couple raised their six children in Benjamin, Utah.
Rosalee was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings throughout her life. She and Sid served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Texas Houston mission. She was a skilled and caring RN both to the patients she served and their families. She spent the last 15 years of her career working in the Utah Valley Hospital NICU.
Her grandchildren will deeply miss her; Rosalee loved being a Grandma. Rosalee was especially proud of her grandson Wyatt who is currently training in the United States Marine Corps Bootcamp.
Rosalee was preceded in death by a grandson Tyler, her parents, and six siblings. She is survived by her Sweetheart, and their six children: Nicky (Wayne) Smith, Annette (Bryce) Crowley, Heather (Chris) Jones, Hilary (Shane) Jones, Heath (Shaelyn), and Sarah (Jed) Jones, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-granddaughters, She is also survived by siblings Paul Crist, and Kendra (Jim) Thuet.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 3rd at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 3278 W. 7300 S., Benjamin, Utah. Friends and family may call on Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary, 187 S. Main, Spanish Fork, and at the church on Friday, one hour prior to services. Interment at Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
