Melvyn Reese Weight of Springville, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours of September 7 after a 3-month battle with Esophageal Cancer. He was born August 2, 1940, to Nolan Grant Weight and Aileen Vane Weight of Springville.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 15 at 11:00 am at the LDS Stake Center on 400 East 400 North Springville, UT. A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 14 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South Springville, UT. There will be a viewing prior to the service at the stake center from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Interment will be at the Springville Historic Cemetery.
