John F Hall, “Jack”

1935 – 2024

Our beloved dad, grandpa, and great-“Grandpa Jack” was able to finally slip through the veil and into the loving arms of his wife, his parents, all his siblings, and his many beloved animals who had gone ahead and were waiting for him. He longed so much to go home, and he was so happy that he would see all his loved ones again and be in the presence of his Savior.

John F Hall, “Jack”, 88, passed away at home on Saturday, March 30, 2024, in Orem, Utah, surrounded by loved ones. John was the youngest of five children born to Edgar and Valera Foote Hall, born on August 5, 1935, in Provo, Utah.

John is survived by his children who loved him so much, daughter Lisa Hall Nord, daughter Christine (LaMar) Johnson, and son Steven Hall. He will be missed so much by his nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, whom he was so happy to be able to meet. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who truly loved their “Uncle Jack.” Preceded in death by his wife, his parents and all his siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11:00am at the Cascade 6th Ward building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on 400 North and 400 East in Orem, Utah. A visitation will be held on Friday evening, April 12, 2024, from 6:00 until 8:00pm at Nelson Family Mortuary, 4780 N. University Ave. in Provo, Utah, with a second visitation on Saturday morning before the services from 9:30 until 10:30am.
