Illa Joy Strasburg
1954 – 2024
Illa Joy Strasburg passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 23, 2024, at the age of 70. Illa was born on August 2, 1954, in Provo, Utah, to Willis Willson and Leatha Mary Atwood Willson. She had eight siblings: Willis Willson (Glenda), Richard Willson (Nina), Larry Willson (Anne), Lyle Willson (Nadine), Lilas Willson Park (Larry), Ethel Willson Colunga (Sam), Shirlene Willson, and Mary Lennette Willson Sabin (Dick).
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dee L. Strasburg; both of her sons, Shane D. Strasburg and Travis N. Strasburg; both her parents, and her four brothers. She is survived by her four sisters; daughter-in-law, Shanna Strasburg; three grandsons, Matthew Strasburg, Chancellor Strasburg and Colten Strasburg; and many nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed traveling, going to plays, crafting and spending time with family and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 2, at 11:00 am at Utah Valley Mortuary, 1966 W 700 N, Lindon, Utah, where a viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Interment in Orem City Cemetery.
