JoAnne Vincent

1939 – 2024

Our dearest mom, JoAnne Vincent, passed away February 16, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born November 4, 1939, in Southgate, California, to James W. and Velma N. Cooper. JoAnne has one sister, Rose C. Walcott. JoAnne married Gordon Vincent on March 24, 1962, in Cudahy, California; later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. Together they raised their son, James Stanley Vincent, and their daughter, Denise Vincent, on their farm in Spanish Fork, Utah. JoAnne loved horses and was part of a dancing horse club in California. She loved attending church, visiting with friends and neighbors, but most of all loved being with her family. She is survived by her sister, Rose; son, James (Becky) Vincent; daughter, Denise (Toni) Fitzgerald-Vincent; six grandchildren: Jamie, J.J., Kimberly, Christopher, Nikki, and Dylan, as well as eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; and by her parents. JoAnne was incredibly kind and loving, she left an imprint on the hearts of all the people she met. She will be deeply missed. There will be a visitation on Thursday afternoon, February 22, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. ­- 2:00 p.m. where family and friends may gather at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660.
