Douglas Dean Peck of Orem, Utah passed away on December 27th, 2023. He was born December 31st, 1975, in Provo, Utah. He was the middle son of Jack and DeAnn (Dowling) Peck.

Doug lived in Orem, Utah with the love of his life Mandy Story who he married on September 4th, 2017. They had been together for 21 years, falling in love while living in Colorado in 2002. They lived in Pinedale, WY for a few years before moving back to Orem, UT where they purchased their forever home. Doug’s childhood was spent playing multiple sports with his brothers. He graduated from Orem High School with the Class of 1994. His construction career was sparked by his Grandpa Jack and Uncle Tuck in Pony, MT. Following graduation Doug started his career working as a Tinner for the Local 312 Sheet Metal Workers Union where he worked for over 30 years. He excelled with his talents of sheet metal, mentoring apprentices, and coordinating with other tradesmen and contractors.

Doug had a way of making everybody he talked to feel loved and welcomed. His love of children helped make a massive impact on his nieces and nephews. Some of his passions and hobbies included baseball, the outdoors, Wendover, shed hunting, fishing, and horse races. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends all around to major league baseball games, having the opportunity to see his favorite team the Chicago Cubs play in many stadiums. He spent some summers in Tucker, sheep herding with Darin, Devin Cordes, and his cousin Brad Vacher. After 12 years putting in to draw a Utah big bull, he had the opportunity to take a beautiful 6×6 bull elk in 2007. He jumped on any chance he had to make a friendly bet and play cards. Doug loved shed hunting in UT, CO and WY and fishing at The Berry. He would travel to the Golden Spike Event Center in Ogden to support his chariot racing team Timm, Hanni & Roberts.

Doug is survived by his wife Mandy and the boys (Crash & Dawson), his parents Jack E Peck Jr. and DeAnn Dowling Peck, siblings, Vicky Peck, Darin (Tyanne) Peck, Jaclyn Peck, Devin (Amy) Peck, Uncle Tuck (Kathy), Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and friends that he considered family, Damin Cordes, Brian Marshall, Lance Marshall, Jeff Marshall, John Peer, Colby Story, Landon Neilsen, Brian Murray, and Clay Ford.
