She met her sweetheart, Clayton J Conn, in Rigby, Idaho. They were married December 29, 1949 in Rigby. They chose a life of military service in the US Navy where she loved being a Naval officer’s wife. She surprised him one time when he came home from sea telling him she wanted to be baptized (December 1954) into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which thrilled him and made an eternal difference in their life and that of their family.
