She died on January 20, 2024 after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Stanley L. Taylor, and six children, 20 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Collins LeFevre Taylor. She is survived by her six siblings.

Elaine married Stanley Leland Taylor on May 27, 1972. She battled many health challenges throughout her life, increasingly in her later years. With the loving support of her husband, Elaine endured these illnesses with courage and strength. She found peace and enjoyment by engaging in her hobbies and staying active in the church, despite her pain and discomfort.

Elaine was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She faithfully magnified her church callings and especially enjoyed working with family history.

Services will be held at the LDS chapel located at 1498 E 800 South, Provo, Utah, on January 27, at 10:00 a.m. Viewings will be held January 26 from 7:00-9:00 p.m., and January 27 from 9:00-9:45 a.m. at the same location. Interment will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
