Sylvia Anne Lowe Farris

1942 – 2024

Sylvia Anne Lowe Farris, a cherished mother, was peacefully reunited with her husband, Robert, and son, Donel, on March 19, 2024, at the age of 86.

Born on November 7, 1937, to Paul Ellis Lowe and Carma Sylvia Cordon, Syliva’s life was a testament to love and devotion. On August 9, 1957, she was sealed to Robert Lee Farris, Sr. in the Salt Lake City temple.

Together they had 8 children: Robert Lee, Jr. (Robin), Donel Lynn, Paul Newell (Mary), Rebecca (James), Ruth (Mark), Todd Nelson (Margaret), Jonathan Cordon, Sr. (Michelle), and Sean Michael, Sr. (Janna). She is survived by 7 siblings, 7 children, 32 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, and son, Donel.

Throughout her life, Sylvia remained steadfast in her faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her dedication led her to serve two full-time missions in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 25, 2024, with the viewing starting at 9:30 am, followed by the funeral at 11:00 am located at 1460 E. 900 S. Springville, UT. The family kindly requests donations to the Utah Food Bank in lieu of flowers.
