Susan Bowen Reynolds of Springville, Utah, passed away at home, March 25, 2024. She was born May 13, 1949 in Payson, Utah, to Lofter Clair Bowen and Jean Boyer. She married Henry “Chip” Reynolds on October 08, 1971 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and they made their lifelong home in Springville.

Susan graduated from Springville High School, class of 1967 and received a degree from Brigham Young University in Secretarial Technology. She put her talents and skills to work for many years at Central Bank and Kolob Lumber Co., both in Springville.

She found joy in cooking and made gourmet pies. She had a way of making all the holidays and birthdays special. From her own dance formals to numerous quilts, Susan was a wonderful seamstress. She enjoyed looking for and studying Indigenous American rock art in the Southwest with family. Susan was proud of her heritage and spent time compiling family history for her family and others. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Susan served in the Primary, Young Women’s, and Relief Society.

She is survived by her husband Chip Reynolds, daughter Jennifer Tanner (Jacob), grandsons Michael Tanner and Simeon Tanner, sister Dena Nielsen of Springville and brother Michael Bowen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Spring Creek Stake Center, located at 760 North 400 East, Springville, Utah. A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. Services directed by Wheeler Mortuary.
