Nov 20, 2024

1940 – 2024

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Joyce Allison, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born on December 8, 1940, Joyce dedicated herself to a life filled with love, faith, and music. Her journey on earth came to a peaceful close on November 18, 2024.

For over five decades, Joyce shared her passion and talent as a piano teacher, shaping the lives of countless individuals with the gift of music. In addition to her dedication to music, she found joy in travel, cultivating her garden, and most importantly, in the love she shared with her dear family. Her faith in the LDS church was a cornerstone of her life, where she served diligently in various callings.

Joyce leaves behind her devoted husband, Robert Allison, and their cherished children: Bruce (Vickie) Allison, Colleen (Mike) Wall, Gordan (Stephany) Allison, and Jeff Allison (Mark Linnell). She was a loving grandmother to nine grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to twelve little ones. Joyce’s life was a testament to the beauty of family bonds and the power of love.

In celebration of Joyce’s remarkable life, a public viewing will be held at the Harbor 1st Ward on November 22, 2024, at 6:00 pm, followed by another viewing on November 23, 2024, at 9:45 am, leading up to the funeral service at 11:00 am in the same location. A final goodbye will be bid at Anderson and Sons American Fork on November 21, 2024, at 4:00 pm.
