LuJean Marrott McEwan
July 1, 1953 — September 1, 2024
PRICE- LuJean was born to Thomas W. Marrott and Lorraine Rushton Marrott on July 1st, 1953, in the American Fork Hospital. Growing up, she was the second oldest of seven children. She graduated from Orem High in 1971. LuJean worked many jobs throughout her life, but the one she most loved was being a waitress at the Chalet Cafe in Provo Canyon, where the Broadhead family became her second family. She married Michael McEwan on July 27, 1990 at the Vivian Park in Provo Canyon; they spent 34 loving years together.
She is survived by her husband, Michael McEwan; brothers and sisters, Carol Ann Cardon (Gary, deceased), Jolyne Wilkerson (Joe), Bob (Yolanda), and Kelly (Michelle). Also survived by her furry kids, Cagney, Lacey, and Stella; and her best friends, Callie Lee and Shauna O’Brien, whom she loved and called her other sisters; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lorraine Marrott; in-laws, Dean and Marian McEwan; brothers, Tom and Dale Marrott; sister-in-law, Jodeen Marrott, brothers-in-law, Gary Cardon and Kenny Cotant; baby nephew, Dallas Marrott; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved dog Dylan, cat Charley, and many more loved ones and friends she made over her lifetime.
The McEwan and Marrott families would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Brant Burnham, Shauna, Kelli, and the entire staff at the Heirloom Inn, her hospice nurse, Tiana McElprang, and Dr. Cam Williams; along with the entire staff at Symbii Home Health and Hospice, Dr. Marcus Valdez, and the fantastic nurses at Castleview Hospital for their compassion shown to LuJean and Michael before her passing. We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Robbi Etzel, the Etzel Family, and the entire staff at Mitchell Funeral Home.
As per LuJean’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends and family are welcome to share memories of LuJean online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
