Bart was born on April 13, 1952 to Earl Taylor and Chloe Pyper Finlayson in Provo, Utah. He grew up in Provo, Utah where he graduated from Provo High School and then served an LDS mission in Ohio. He also served in the United States National Guard.

Bart was a young boy the first time he experienced the carnival and he was hooked! Anyone that knew him, knew that his true love was the carnival. He loved moving from place to place, and making many friends along the way. It all began with Finlayson Rides Carnival and remained a lifelong love of his, until the very end.

Bart is survived by his five children, Rick (Alicia), Cory, Ryan (Abi), Nolan (Amanda), and Ashlie (Dan), seventeen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; one sister Carol (Leonard) and five brothers Richard (Janice), Merrill (Jill), Keith (Carolyn), Clair (Michele), Dan (Connie). He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Coleen (Larry), two brothers-in-law, and a sister-in-law.

A grave side service will be held for family at the Provo Cemetery and a Celebration of Life will be held when Fair season is over. Details to be shared via social media.
