Apr 11, 2025

June 24, 1969 – April 6, 2025

Rob Clark passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on June 24, 1969, to Gordon Dale Clark & Bonnie Kaye Jolley Clark, he was the eldest sibling to Taunya (Bruce) Cook, Ian Clark, and Kiersten Hughes. Rob lived a life marked by devotion to his family, an adventurous spirit, and profound patriotism.

Upon graduating high school, Rob enlisted in the United States Navy, serving with distinction as a Seabee (Construction Battalion) at the Naval Base in Port Hueneme, California. His service instilled in him a lifelong commitment to his country, evident in the American flag he proudly displayed and the values he imparted to those around him. Rob dedicated 24 years to Geneva Rock as a truck driver, forging lasting friendships and earning the respect of his colleagues through his commitment and camaraderie. More recently, he drove truck for Warner Transportation, he valued their support as a great employer, and the friendships he built.

On December 8, 1990, Rob married his beloved Mindee, whom he proudly introduced as ‘the hottest girl in town’–a playful compliment that once made her blush but now brings her comfort as a cherished memory of his love. For the first 21 years of their marriage, Rob and Mindee lived life to the fullest, embracing spontaneity and adventure. Together, they danced the night away in Wendover, attended concerts, traveled, hunted, went camping and spent many nights around a campfire.

In 2011, Rob and Mindee welcomed their daughter Brynlee, who instantly became the light of Rob’s life. As a devoted father, Rob cherished every moment with her. Brynlee’s love for horses blossomed and Rob dove in with boundless enthusiasm, his heart full of joy at her passion. He spent countless hours listening to her talk about horses, engaging in endless conversations that lit up his world. Rob cherished watching her ride, compete and excel, beaming with pride at her accomplishments. As a skilled equestrian in both English and Western styles, Brynlee can ride any horse, and earn victories–Rob was her biggest champion, celebrating every moment of her success.

Rob leaves behind his devoted wife of 35 years, Mindee Clark; his cherished daughter, Brynlee Clark; his parents, Gordon Dale Clark and Bonnie Kaye Jolley Clark; and his siblings, Taunya (Bruce) Cook, Ian Clark, and Kiersten Hughes. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will greatly miss him. Rob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale and Donna Clark, and Kay and Carol Jolley, as well as his brothers-in-law, Bruce Cook and Brandon Bourgeois.

A funeral service honoring Rob’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the LDS Chapel, located at 220 South 200 West, Lehi, Utah. Viewings are scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, Utah, and on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the LDS Chapel prior to the service.
