Fawn Ingrid Nordrum Christopher

Fawn Ingrid Nordrum Christopher of Spanish Fork, Utah, passed away on August 10, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Nonnie Larsen and Jackie Soderquist. Fawn is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, David, as well as her children, Tara (Jerem) Eyre, Tansy (Jason) Westenskow, Jesse (Stephanie) Christopher, and Ginger (Lane) Leishman, and 12 grandchildren.
Fawn was born in Red Bank, New Jersey, on January 10, 1952, to Oluf Ibsen Nordrum and Dorothea Marion Cook. She attended Rick’s College and then Brigham Young University, where she met her husband, David Christopher. They were married on April 20, 1974, in the Provo Utah Temple.
Fawn graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in theater and loved using her talents to serve the community. She volunteered with the Spanish Fork Arts Council and the Spanish Fork Community Theater for over 30 years. She and David brought the summer productions to life through directing, stage makeup, and costumes. She was a true community staple, helping wherever she could.
Fawn and David co-hosted the A Healthier You radio show for 27 years and continued hosting it as a podcast until her passing. She served as correspondence secretary for Dr. John R. Christopher, learning at his feet as she answered every letter. She worked alongside David teaching about herbs and natural healing throughout their married life.
Some of her favorite memories were made traveling the world with family, lecturing with David, chaperoning the Utah Valley Children’s Choir, and dancing with the Oquirrh Mountain Cloggers.
Fawn served in many capacities in her church, bringing her love and organizational skills to each one. She especially cherished her time as a temple worker in the Payson Temple, as Relief Society President, and in her many years as Activities Director.
She found joy in sharing produce from her bountiful garden with family and friends. Her garden was always filled with favorites like tomatoes, zucchini, raspberries, grapes, herbs, and peaches.
Fawn was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She looked forward to having grandchildren her entire life, and they quickly became the highlight of her world. She attended as many of their activities as possible and often texted them to check in. She would read the books they were reading to better connect with them. Her closets were full of toys, books, and games, making her house a favorite for all her grandkids.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Spanish Fork Utah Stake Center, 1006 East 200 South, Spanish Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held at the church from 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
