Martha Rosenbaum
December 13, 1930 – November 23, 2025
Spanish Fork — Martha Horne Tingey Cook Rosenbaum, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, at the age of 94. She was born on December 13, 1930, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to William Horne Tingey and Helga Pedersen Tingey.
Martha’s life was rich in faith, family, and music. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music from Brigham Young University, where she met her husband, Alan Dennis Cook, in the music program. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised eleven children in Orem and Lake Shore, Utah. Alan passed away in 1978, leaving Martha to courageously support her family. She worked as Export Sales Manager at Nature’s Sunshine for many years.
In 1989, Martha married Neal Rosenbaum of Spanish Fork, Utah. Their partnership was filled with love and service, including a cherished mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the England London South Mission from 1999 to 2001. Neal preceded her in death in 2023.
Martha’s legacy is one of unwavering faith, devotion to family, and a lifelong love of music. She touched countless lives through her kindness, strength, and example.
She is survived by her eleven children:
Kristin Lambert (Steve), Alan, Anne Browne (Roger), Lauren Leifson (Bret), Susan Tuckett (David), Carolyn Hamilton (Myron), Ron (Kelly), Patti Orr (Eric), Debra Hoggan (Todd), Kent (Emily), and Ryan (Heidi); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
Services:
– Viewing: Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Spanish Fork Utah Stake Center, 1006 East 200 South, Spanish Fork, Utah from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
– Funeral: Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
– Interment: Syracuse City Cemetery.
