Katie Jueschke

Dec 8, 2025

June 18, 1977 – December 2, 2025

Provo – Our precious daughter and sister, Laura Katherine (Katie) Jueschke was freed from her earthly probation on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Born to loving parents Arthur and Carol (Stout) Jueschke on June 18, 1977, Katie lived her life with microcephaly and cerebral palsy, which bound her to her bed and wheelchair. Despite these disabilities, Katie touched the lives of all those around her in an unforgettable way. In her youth, Katie attended Oakridge Elementary, where she was elected to be a student body officer. At home, she loved listening to stories, watching Snow White, playing “Where’s Katie” and giggling at funny sounds or games – like being helped by family members to give someone a light “kick in the pants”. Crying was one of Katie’s only forms of communication, which let us know if she was sad, uncomfortable, mad or just wanting some more soft serve vanilla ice cream. Among those whose lives Katie touched are the hosts of caretakers, who we express our sincere love and appreciation to for loving Katie as their own daughter and sister. Katie was preceded in death by her mother Carol, her grandparents, her beloved Aunt LuJean and many other loving aunts and uncles. She is survived by her father Arthur and by her siblings David (Petra) Jueschke, Angie (Noah) Gordon and Michael (Jamie) Jueschke. A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 11 from 6-8 pm and Friday morning from 9-9:45 am at the Grandview Stake Center, 1600 N. 1880 W. Provo, Utah. A funeral will follow from 10-11 am. We love and miss you, dear Katie!
