Amy “Anderson” Litchfield

1969 – 2025
A beloved family member, Amy “Anderson” Litchfield, 55, of Orem, Utah, passed away on January 3, 2025.
She was born January 10, 1969, to Jean and Glenn Litchfield in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Amy spent most of her childhood and young adult years in Northern California. She graduated from Gunderson High school in San Jose, California. Subsequently, she served a LDS mission in Atlanta, Georgia. When she returned home, she worked in a bankruptcy attorney’s office for a time in the bay area.
In 2004, she moved to Orem, Utah to live with her mother. As her mother’s health declined in later years, Amy became her the primary caregiver. When her mother was eventually, moved into a memory-care facility, Amy diligently visited until her mother’s passing.
Amy had many passions she pursued throughout her life. Among them was tracing family history, and anything Celtic and British, including British television and British humor. Amy had a wonderful sense of humor, and enjoyed making others laugh. When she was younger, she was able to travel to Britain and especially loved visiting the Lichfield Cathedral, which became a favorite place that she spoke about many times. She took pleasure in watching shows about animals and seldom missed a Dr. Pol show. And she never missed the winter Olympics. Her love of San Francisco and the bay area never faded after she moved away. She was always proud to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
Amy will be remembered as a loving friend, always willing to help, and for being generous, kind, humble and friendly.
Amy is survived by her three sisters, Lori, Valerie, and Julee, three nieces and two nephews, and her dog Josie.
She will be missed by her close friends, Susan Brady, Traci Naylor, Dr. Gulbrandsen, Judy Jensen, and all the Jensen children, Lori Gibbons, Lynn Chaney, LaRee Ball, and Suzanne Chatterton.
We love her with all our hearts and look forward to being with her again someday.
