We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Lesli Walton Bray, who left us on May 8, 2025. Born on March 6, 1958, in Orem, Utah, Lesli lived a life filled with love, dedication, and enthusiasm for learning and nature.
Lesli graduated with honors from Southern Utah University and went on to become a beloved teacher at Janesville Elementary School. Her passion for education was evident, and she was recognized as Teacher of the Year in both 2015 and 2018. Lesli’s commitment to her students and her community was unwavering, and she touched the lives of many through her work and volunteer efforts.
Outside of her professional life, Lesli was an active member of The P.E.O. Sisterhood Chapter QR and a dedicated volunteer at Shasta Elementary School. She was a master gardener, avid book reader, bird watcher, and outdoor enthusiast who loved boating, hiking, and immersing herself in nature.
Lesli is survived by her loving mother, Bernice Walton; her brother, Brad Walton (Linda); her children, Nathan Bray (Loni), Rebecca Lace, and Katie Dufault (Duane); and her cherished grandchildren, Maddox, Lily, Leighton, Tristan, Emily, and Bailey.
