Charles (Chuck) Duane Kay

Charles “Chuck” Duane Kay, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born in Provo, Utah on September 14, 1943, Chuck lived a life centered on faith, family, and service.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edgemont 7th Ward, 555 E 3230 N, Provo, Utah.
Chuck’s loving wife, Laurel Deane Kay, along with his children Brett Kay, Chad (Rachael) Kay, and Megan (Kasey) Ramsay, and his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, were blessed to spend his final days together at home. Their time with him–filled with stories, gratitude, and quiet moments–will forever be treasured.
A joyous reunion surely welcomed Chuck on the other side, where he joins his son Cory Kay, his parents Ross and Grace Kay, and his older brother Sherman Kay.
In honor of Chuck’s generous spirit, and in accordance with his wishes, the family invites donations to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
He will be remembered for his steady kindness, his devotion to family, the title of “Coach” and a life well lived.
