Jackie spent nearly 40 years in Wheaton, Illinois, before moving to Terrell, North Carolina. She worked for 17 years at Wheaton Ace Hardware, serving nine years as store manager, and later enjoyed working estate sales during retirement.

She is survived by her husband, James (Jim) Cox; daughters Carol Lynn and Kathy Cox; grandchildren Lauren Braden (Ferin) and Tyler Ferin, and their spouses; great-grandchildren Miles and Casey Braden; and extended family. She was preceded in death by her brother Mike Lindley and several brothers- and sisters-in-law.

A private burial will be held at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, Northlake, Illinois.
