Wayne C. Miller
Wayne C. Miller returned to his Heavenly Father and departed loved ones on January 5, 2026, after a brave fight with cancer. He was surrounded by his family.
Wayne was born September 30, 1941, in Salt Lake City, Utah. His parents are the late Orrin P. Miller and Lora A. (Glen) Miller. His brother is Orrin Leon (Beverly) Miller. He married Diane (West) Miller on November 9, 1961, in the Salt Lake LDS temple.
His children are David W. (Angie) Miller, Dana A. (Robert) Webb, Paige A. (Doug) Willes, Kristy A. (Joe) Avina, Rod W. Miller, and Jill A. (Ryan ) Wride. He has 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Wayne grew up on a farm near Payson, Utah. After graduating from Payson High School, he attended Brigham Young University. His occupation was primarily that of an inspector for the Bureau of Reclamation and the Water Conservancy and Soil Conservation in Provo, Utah.
Wayne was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many callings. He was the Bishop in the Benjamin, Utah 1st ward and a temple ordinance worker in the Provo and Payson LDS temples.
Wayne loved his family foremost. He also loved his many horses and dogs. He loved camping, hunting, and fishing. He and Diane enjoyed many places of travel. One of his favorite vacations was with his wife and six children and their spouses when they went to Alaska on a cruise.
He always enjoyed the family get-togethers with his entire posterity in the summer and at Christmas time!
Wayne was known for his friendly personality-He loved talking to all people and showed a genuine interest in them. He always had a positive outlook on life. He was truly loved and will be missed by everyone.
A viewing will be held in Wayne’s honor on Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 6:00 8:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 3278 West 7300 South, Benjamin, Utah.
An additional viewing will be held at the same location on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service will follow at that location at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery located at 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah.
