Marilyn Eva Tall Perry
Marilyn Eva Tall Perry passed at the age of 93 on July 1, 2026, in Orem, Utah. Born on March 7, 1933, in Sugar City, Idaho, Marilyn led a life marked by dedication to community, family, and her faith.
Marilyn graduated BYU, where she earned BS in education which she used to serve her community. She served diligently as executive secretary in the Cooperative Education department at BYU, and later as the City Recorder for Provo City.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Marilyn devoted much of her time and energy to church service through a compassion that defined her life.
Marilyn, a talented pianist and organist, brought joy to anyone who heard her play. Marilyn was deeply engaged with grandchildren, politics, and her community well into her mature years.
Her loving family: Rebecca Marilyn (Perry) Wallace, (Michael), John, (Susan), Heidi (Holbrook) Perry, brothers: Bruce & Roger. Marilyn was preceded in death by her former husband, Malin Perry, and sons, David & Robert. She has 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
An Evening Viewing will be held Thursday, July 9, 2026 6:00 pm – 8:00 am, at Utah Valley Mortuary, 1966 W 700 N, Lindon, Utah.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026,11:00 am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 828 W 1600 N, Orem, Utah. Marilyn will be buried in the Provo City Cemetery.
