Bruce was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. After converting to the LDS Church at age 18, he served a mission in Paris, France, and later graduated from BYU.

Bruce is survived by his children, Erik (Yvette), Torrey (Jason), Joslyn (Kolby), and Darlee; his grandchildren, Gavin, Charlotte, Felicity, Ariana, and Harmony; and his siblings, Donna (Dan), Trish (Gary), and Doug (JoEllyn)

A graveside service will be held to honor him at 11am on July 17, 2026 at the Orem City Cemetery.
