David Richard Stemmons
September 16, 1963 – September 6, 2026.
David Richard Stemmons left this life for a higher calling. His love and influence remain boundless.
David was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served an honorable full-time mission in the Dominican Republic. For 34 years he dedicated himself to Jones Paint and Glass, where he was known as a diligent, honest, and dependable employee–innovative, skilled at solving problems, and determined in the face of challenges.
He had a deep passion for rare gems and minerals and found joy in mining, exchanging, and trading within the gem world.
David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, friend, and colleague. He married Ronda Hanzlik on August 18, 2000; they were later sealed in the Timpanogos Utah Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Ronda Hanzlik Stemmons; his four children, Quinn, Aubrey (Jake), Kiffon, and Brook, and their twelve grandchildren; his parents, William and Cathy; and his siblings Elizabeth, Daniel (Sharlee), Brent, Ben (Sabrina), Kent (Hillary), and Jared. He is also survived by his loyal sidekick, Dakota.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer. The Viewing will be on September 16, 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00 at 90 Center St, Leamington, UT 84638 followed by a luncheon at 61 W. Main Street, Leamington, UT 84638.
