LCDR Paul Patrick Conners
LCDR Paul Patrick Conners, age 96, of St. Cloud, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026. He was born on April 26, 1930, in Newport, Kentucky, to Kenneth and Sadie (Herzog) Conners.
Paul lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, humor, and deep love for his family, friends, country, and community. He will be remembered for his quick wit, warm personality, and willingness to help anyone in need.
A proud veteran, Paul served three years in the United States Coast Guard and thirty years in the United States Navy, including active duty and reserve service. His devotion to service reflected his lifelong love for the United States and his commitment to others.
Paul is survived by his four children, Donald (Sheila) Conners of Georgetown, Texas, Gary Conners of Spring, Texas, Cynthia Howlett of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Kevin Conners of Columbus, Ohio.
He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on September 12, 2026, at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel, 2821 Old Canoe Creek Road, St. Cloud, Florida.
Paul’s cremated remains will be interred during a graveside ceremony at Provo City Cemetery in Provo, Utah, on September 18, 2026 CT at 11 a.m.
LCDR Paul Patrick Conners will rest alongside his previously deceased wife Roberta (Triplett) Conners at the Provo City Cemetery in Utah. This addition honors their connection as part of his final resting place.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Paul’s hospice caregivers, medical team, friends, and community for their support, compassion, and care.
