With last Friday’s football game between Snow College and Trinity Valley Community College scheduled to air live on ESPN+, Snow needed a pep band – but school was not yet in session. Dr. David Fullmer, director of bands at Snow College, put out the word, and nearly 100 musicians showed up to support the Badgers. Matching shirts and hats were provided for the participants and, after about one hour of rehearsal, the band headed out to take its place in the stands. Participants ranged from high school students to professional players and teachers. Many were from Sanpete County, but some drove more than an hour to reach Stoddard Field and support Fullmer and the Badgers on national television. The band played through the first half of the game – about two hours – before heavy rainfall required them to call it a night and get their instruments out of the wet weather.
