Jane Stucki received $500 as winner of Zions Bank’s “Lights, Camera, Save!” Contest

EPHRAIM — A video created by Jane Stucki, 14, was selected as the statewide winner of Zions Bank’s “Lights, Camera, Save!” contest. For creating the winning video, Spring City teen was awarded a $500 cash prize at Zions Bank’s Ephraim branch on June 15.

Stucki’s video, titled “A Few Easy Ways to Save Money,” features practical savings tips using hand-drawn black and white illustrations. As the winner of Zions Bank’s contest, Stucki’s video advanced to the national Lights, Camera, Save! competition, sponsored by the American Bankers Association, where it was shared on the ABA’s Instagram account.

“We commend Jane for helping us spread the message about the importance of savings,” said Ephraim branch manager Nate Christensen. “Her video delivers excellent savings tips in an engaging and entertaining way.”

To participate in Lights, Camera, Save! competition, students created a short video to educate their peers about the value of saving and using money wisely. Participating banks judged the entries and selected one winner from their state for consideration at the national level. Videos were judged on their quality, message and content.
