“This couple was very loving toward each other and their children. They had a handsome sweet older brother that was there for the early part of labor. Baby Emma had the most gorgeous black hair. I loved being the nurse to this couple and it was an absolute joy to be part of welcoming such a beautiful girl as our New Year’s baby,” stated Virginia Henry, RN.
“It is always exciting to welcome the first baby of the year. I love seeing the excitement and appreciation they have when our patients find out they had the New Year’s baby! The staff is excited, the provider is excited, and as the nurse manager – I love all the interaction that takes place,” stated Suzy Zahler, RN, women and newborn manager at the hospital.
