Free horse packing clinic set for Contoy Arena

Demonstrations with horses and equipment will be proved by Mitchell Jackson, who is a seasoned horseman and a native of Sanpete. Besides being a farrier for over 40 years, he has been packing and hunting for as long as he can remember, from the Book Cliffs to the Boulders and beyond.

Come listen to his years of experience and learn from his practical and common-sense techniques. Mitch is all about preparation and safety. Feel free to invite a friend or two.

This event is Free of charge and will take place on April 4th from 6 to 9 p.m. Topics to include proper packing, trail safety, knot tying, hobbling and highline tying.
