Seven girls to compete in Miss Mt. Pleasant competition
Seven young women are vying for the title of Miss Mt. Pleasant, 2023 for the opportunity to win a two-thousand-dollar scholarship and represent Mt. Pleasant City through a year of service initiatives at various events, programs, and parades. Contestants will be judged on private interview, on-stage question, evening wear and talent.

The Miss Mt. Pleasant pageant will be hosted by the current Miss Mt. Pleasant, Journey Toomey and the current Miss Teen Mt. Pleasant, Kaylie Curtis.
The pageant will be held at 7:00pm on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the North Sanpete High School. Doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets will be sold at the door. Adult, $5.00 and Child $3.00. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The 2023 Miss Mt. Pleasant Contestants Include:

Aubrie Stiglich
Contestant #1 – Aubrie Stiglich; daughter of Marilyn & Chris Terry of Mt. Pleasant and Lou and Kira Stiglich of Kuna, Idaho.
Talent: Dramatic Monologue
Community Service Initiative: “Helping Hands”; creating community awareness and involvement for those in need financially through food drives, coat drives, clothing exchanges and more.

Taylor Timms
Contestant #2 – Taylor Timms; Niece of Brianna Timms, Mt. Pleasant.
Talent: Inspirational Reading
Community Service Initiative: Decreasing the rates of suicide and mental illness by combating common risk factors through gratitude and positivity.

Jade Shepherd
Contestant #3 – Jade Shepherd; daughter of Bernardo & Nikki Corona of Mt. Pleasant.
Talent: Dance
Community Service Initiative: “Hoof & Heart Healing;” brining equine therapy to our community with designated programs for kids with autism; those suffering from anxiety, depression and eating disorders and a program for veterans. Horses have many healing attributes, I’m excited to introduce these through this program.

Shea Rawlinson
Contestant #4 – Shea Rawlinson; daughter of Sean and Shauna Rawlinson of Mt. Pleasant.
Talent: Guitar/Vocal
Community Service Initiative: “Leave No Trace”; brining support, cleanliness, unity and a loving spirit to our town.

Isabell Lucero
Contestant #5 – Isabell Lucero; daughter of Brianna Timms and Granddaughter of Robert Timms, Mt. Pleasant.
Talent: Lira
Community Service Initiative: “Bringing Unity to the Community”; Creating individual connections for large scale change through awareness and destigmatizing social anxiety.

Madison Shelley
Contestant #6 – Madison Shelley; daughter of Robert and Candice Shelley of Mt. Pleasant.
Talent: Guitar/Vocal
Community Service Initiative: “Kid’s in The Kitchen;” Almost 1/3 of American’s do not know how to cook! Food is something everyone needs and is something everyone should know how to make. I want to share all the benefits of the culinary arts with our community, especially kids!

Aiyana Spencer
Contestant #7 – Aiyana Spencer; daughter of Doug and Melissa Spencer of Mt. Pleasant; Heather Webb of Bluffdale and Trent Hamblin of West Haven.
Talent: Vocal
Community Service Initiative: Brining awareness and raising funds for the Utah Foster Care System. I want to encourage fostering in our community and show the benefits of doing so by sharing my personal story in the foster care system.
