Spring City residents gathered last Saturday afternoon at the Spring City Community Center Ballroom for the eagerly anticipated Miss Spring City Pageant and Luncheon. Among the glitz and glamour, Ingrid Seegmiller emerged as the new face of the community, crowned as Miss Spring City 2024.

Ingrid, the daughter of Stephanie and Cory Seegmiller, charmed the judges with her poise, talent, and commitment to service. Alongside her, Emma Evans, daughter of Brittany and Nicholas Evans, was named as her attendant, forming a dynamic duo to represent Spring City throughout the year.

The pageant, a culmination of talent, interview skills, and service projects, showcased the remarkable achievements and aspirations of the contestants. Ingrid’s service project struck a chord with the judges as she proposed raising funds to adorn the city’s main street with beautiful flower containers adorning the utility poles. Meanwhile, Emma’s initiative aimed to enhance the city park by raising funds for new playground equipment.

In recognition of their accomplishments, Ingrid will receive a $1,000 scholarship, while Emma will be awarded a $500 scholarship. These scholarships will empower them to pursue their dreams and aspirations at the college of their choice, marking the beginning of their journey towards higher education.

The pageant was expertly organized by Rachel and Amanda Johansen, who ensured a seamless and memorable event for all involved. Their dedication and hard work contributed to the success of the pageant, providing a platform for young women like Ingrid and Emma to showcase their talents and make a positive impact on their community.
