SGK Realty, led by proprietor Renelle Smith in collaboration with her assistant Megan Frischknecht, hosted a wonderfully successful fundraising initiative in support of the Sanpete Pantry on Dec. 30.

Smith and Frischknecht proactively engaged numerous local business owners, who graciously contributed valuable items for a raffle conducted during the event.

The fundraiser, an elegant New Year’s dance at the Spring City Ballroom, featured the music of DJ Mark Minor as well as games, prizes and light refreshments. Attendance was estimated at 75 to 100 individuals. The purchase of $10 entry tickets to the event yielded significant financial contributions for the Sanpete Pantry, with many attendees demonstrating exceptional generosity by making additional cash donations. An impressive total of $4,260 in funds from the gala was presented to the Sanpete Pantry on Jan. 4.

Furthermore, attendees exhibited a commendable spirit of community support by bringing non-perishable food items to the event. One hundred and ninety pounds of food for the Sanpete Pantry was collected at the New Year’s gala.

The success of the New Year’s fundraiser underscores Smith’s and Frischknecht’s dedication to our community as well as the ongoing generosity of our citizens and reflects positively on the collaborative efforts of SGK Realty in making a meaningful impact on local charitable initiatives.

According to Sanpete Pantry, what these generous contributions mean to our community is 2,130 individual meals, or 426 kid packs!

Starting at $4.32/week.
