Fairview Art Museum cordially invites the public to a special Open House event showcasing the talents of local artists from Marie Lindahl’s oil painting class. The event will take place on the evening of May 10th, offering attendees the opportunity to appreciate the diverse array of artwork produced by members of the class.

Among the artists featured in the exhibit are DeAnn Barentsen, Celeste Curtis, Ron Giles, Erv Shelley, and the late Nancy Miner. The paintings on display encompass a wide range of subjects, including landscapes, florals, animals, and portraits, highlighting the artistic diversity and skill within the class.

In memory of Nancy Miner, who passed away in February of this year, the exhibit will include an artistic tribute to honor her contributions as a dear friend and classmate. Miner’s presence and artistic legacy will be celebrated alongside the works of her fellow classmates.

For art enthusiasts interested in acquiring pieces from the exhibit, select paintings will be available for purchase throughout the duration of the two-week exhibit. Purchased artwork can be collected at the museum starting May 23rd, providing an opportunity to adorn homes with unique pieces of local art while supporting the artists and the museum.

The exhibit will be on display at the Fairview Art Museum from May 10 through May 23, with the Open House event scheduled for Friday, May 10, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.. The museum is conveniently located at 85 N. 100 East, Fairview.
