Many events are free of charge; for ticketed events, tickets can be purchased at the fair’s website, sanpetecountyfair.net. More information and entry forms for various events can also be found on the website.

Here are some tips for getting the most out of your 2025 fair experience:

Carnival: To save some cash, purchase a carnival day pass online in advance at the fair’s website. A day pass is $35 and can be used for one of any of the three days the carnival is open. The carnival opens on Thursday, Aug. 21, at 4 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 22, at 3 p.m. and at noon on Saturday, Aug. 23.
