Mt. Pleasant is hosting their Daddy Daughter Christmas Ball on Dec. 20. Music, dancing, crafts, games, photo ops and holiday treats are planned for this magical evening. Create memories with your family. From 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Wasatch Academy Tiger’s Den, 200 E. 200 North. Tickets are limited, so sign up at mpcityut.gov. $30 a couple, $8 for each additional child.
The Sanpete Pantry continues to fight food insecurity in our community. Over 7,000 families were served at the pantry from January through October this year. With the holidays putting additional strain on everyone’s budget, the Sanpete Pantry is seeing a continued need. Donate now to help our neighbors make ends meet. Volunteers are always needed to help assemble kids food packs, call ahead to volunteer. Donate what you can at the pantry’s webpage using Venmo or your credit card. You can also mail a donation to the Sanpete Pantry at 1080 Blackhawk Blvd., Mt. Pleasant UT 84647. Every little bit helps.
Splash in the new wear at the Mt. Pleasant Aquatic Center. Join the free swim at the pool on Dec. 29. The Aquatic Center is at 75 E. Main Street, with plenty of parking available. Call for times and details at 435 462-1333.
The first-ever Relentless Grit New Year’s Buck N’ Ball will take place at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the Contoy Arena in Mt. Pleasant. An optional dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with the all-inclusive ticket. A dance and New Years Eve countdown will begin at 10 p.m. The event is guaranteed to be a warm gathering for families and neighbors.
This rodeo has events for everyone. Kids events start at 5 p.m. and the main event starts at 6 p.m. Bull riders are being sought and cash prizes will be offered. Sign-up online only, your rodeo entry fees must be paid before the event.

Spring City’s Candlelight Christmas Tour is on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Presented by Friends of Historic Spring City, this event turns Spring City’s downtown Main Street into a holiday extravaganza. Enjoy Christmas carols, bluegrass music, a miniature art sale, and booths with treats and holiday surprises. Tickets for the candlelight tour are available at the Old School Community Center, walking the Main Street extravaganza is free.
The Sanpete Valley Choral Arts Society will be giving three performances of sacred Christmas music. See the group at the Manti tabernacle (90 S. Main, Manti) on Monday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m., at the Mt Pleasant North Stake (461 N. 300 West, Mt Pleasant) on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. or in Salt Lake City at the Church History Museum (45 N. West Temple) on Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 3 p.m.
The Young Entrepreneurs Christmas Market will be at the Fountain Green Dance Hall (64 S. State St) on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Shop for crafts, baked goods, 3D prints, accessories and more. Get those last minute gifts or treat yourself. Remember, shopping local lifts our community.
The Peterson Dance Hall in Fairview (65 S. State St) is having a community holiday celebration on Friday, Dec. 12, starting at 6 p.m. A music competition, dancing and a photo booth for making holiday memories will be event highlights. Join your neighbors to celebrate. This fundraiser will benefit the Sanpete Food Pantry and other community centers.
