Sanpete Valley Choral Arts Society to present sacred Christmas concerts
The Sanpete Valley Choral Arts Society will celebrate the season with a series of sacred Christmas music performances scheduled at three locations across central Utah and Salt Lake City later this month.
The concert series will feature choral selections focused on the spiritual meaning of Christmas and will be presented in three separate performances to allow audiences in different communities the opportunity to attend.
The first performance was Monday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m. in the historic Manti Tabernacle in Manti. Known for its acoustics and architectural beauty, the tabernacle provides a fitting setting for sacred choral music.
The choir will now perform on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant North Stake Center, located at 461 North 300 West in Mount Pleasant. This performance offers Sanpete Valley residents another chance to experience the Christmas program closer to home.
The final performance will be held Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 3 p.m. at the Church History Museum, 45 North West Temple in Salt Lake City, providing an afternoon concert option for those visiting the capital city during the holiday season.
The Sanpete Valley Choral Arts Society is known for presenting high-quality choral music and for sharing performances that reflect the cultural and spiritual traditions of the region. The Christmas concert series continues that tradition, inviting audiences to pause during the busy holiday season and reflect through music.
